She may not have won The X Factor, but Amelia Lily certainly knows how to draw a crowd.
Taking to the stage at London’s G-A-Y club night, the Middlesborough teenager decided to show her enthusiasm by creating a ‘gay’ tattoo on her legs.
The pink-haired 17-year-old had hastily written the words on her right shin in the toilets of the club before she went on stage.
Lily, who came third in last month’s competition, sang a collection of her most memorable performances from the series.
Writing on her Twitter following the gig, she enthused: ‘G.A.Y you were a fabulous audience tonight! Completely rocked! Much love.’
Although she is yet to sign a record contract, it is believed the teen will record a duet with her mentor Kelly Rowland.
Meanwhile, Lily has laughed off reports of a romance with One Direction bandmember Niall Horan.
The teenager was also linked to disgraced X Factor finalist Frankie Cocozza, but has always insisted they’re just friends.
She told the Sunday Sun: ‘When I was in the show there were so many romance rumours, about Frankie and One Direction, but even if I wanted to start seeing someone I just don’t have the time.
‘I think I was being linked with boys just because I was seen talking to them. In the house I used to hang out with the boys from The Risk a lot.
‘I’ve grown up with two older brothers so I just “get” boys more than I do girls.’
