Sugar should be controlled and taxed in the same way as tobacco and alcohol, according to scientists

SUGAR is so harmful that it should be controlled and taxed in the same way as tobacco and alcohol, according to scientists.

The team from the University of California in San Francisco said that high-calorie food had caused a global obesity pandemic and was indirectly responsible for 35million deaths globally.

Public Health Minister Anne Milton said: “We are working with food firms to reduce sugar and ensure healthier options are available. Collective voluntary action can deliver real progress.”

    Yes sugar is a poison but it doesn’t even come close to what the Club of Rome have replaced it with. Aspartame sweetener is highly poisonous so do your research on this devil compound we now have thanks to the evil DVD agent, Donald Rumsfeld.
