Another big name backs UKIP

Novelist, columnist and TV presenter Garry Bushell is throwing his weight behind UKIP.
Mr Bushell, who has previously campaigned for an English Parliament, said: “Nigel Farage is the only politician of any stature in this country today.”
“He’s always such a breath of fresh air when he appears on TV which is why I have decided to back the party.
“I am delighted to swing behind the campaign in Feltham and Heston where the candidate Andrew Charalambous is working hard and has been having a real impact in the area.
“I hope the party does well and the people in the constituency vote for a real voice in Westminster.”
UKIP Leader Nigel Farage, UKIP Leader, said: “Garry has been the voice of the people for decades so his backing of UKIP is tremendous news.
“Support for UKIP is growing with many voters now seeking a fresh alternative to the three tired old parties.
“People have become fed up with the empty promises from the political elite of this country and are now concluding UKIP is the only party that will really put their country first.”
Garry Bushell’s support of UKIP came about following a meeting with Paul Nuttall, UKIP’s Deputy Leader.
Paul, who is also UKIP’s MEP for North West England, is the architect of UKIP’s English Parliament policy.
Mr Bushell is a former London Mayor candidate for the English Democrats.
