Hunter gatherer clue to obesity

The idea that exercise is more important than diet in the fight against obesity has been contradicted by new research.
A study of the Hadza tribe, who still exist as hunter gatherers, suggests the amount of calories we need is a fixed human characteristic.
This suggests Westerners are growing obese through over-eating rather than having inactive lifestyles, say scientists.
One in 10 people will be obese by 2015.
And, nearly one in three of the worldwide population is expected to be overweight, according to figures from the World Health Organization.
The Western lifestyle is thought to be largely to blame for the obesity “epidemic”.
Various factors are involved, including processed foods high in sugar and fat, large portion sizes, and a sedentary lifestyle where cars and machines do most of the daily physical work.
The relative balance of overeating to lack of exercise is a matter of debate, however.
Some experts have proposed that our need for calories has dropped drastically since the industrial revolution, and this is a bigger risk factor for obesity than changes in diet.
A study published in the PLoS ONE journal tested the theory, by looking at energy expenditure in the Hadza tribe of Tanzania.
The Hadza people, who still live as hunter gatherers, were used as a model of the ancient human lifestyle.
Members of the 1,000-strong population hunt animals and forage for berries, roots and fruit on foot, using bows, small axes, and digging sticks. They don’t use modern tools or guns.
Diverse lifestyles
A team of scientists from the US, Tanzania and the UK, measured energy expenditure in 30 Hadza men and women aged between 18 and 75.
They found physical activity levels were much higher in the Hadza men and women, but when corrected for size and weight, their metabolic rate was no different to that of Westerners.
Dr Herman Pontzer of the department of anthropology at Hunter College, New York, said everyone had assumed that hunter gatherers would burn hundreds more calories a day than adults in the US and Europe.
The data came as a surprise, he said, highlighting the complexity of energy expenditure.
But he stressed that physical exercise is nonetheless important for maintaining good health.
“This to me says that the big reason that Westerners are getting fat is because we eat too much – it’s not because we exercise too little,” said Dr Pontzer.
“Being active is really important to your health but it won’t keep you thin – we need to eat less to do that.
“Daily energy expenditure might be an evolved trait that has been shaped by evolution and is common among all people and not some simple reflection of our diverse lifestyles.”




It is not the lack of exercise causing this problem or any saturated fat or even sugar. The problem is coming serious dysfunctions of the Spleen caused by background radiation and wrong diet. Radiation problems are the next big problem stemming from Chernobyl and now Fukushima tied to the ‘Apocalypse Equation’ thesis by Audrey Tomason the current U.S. Director for Counter-Terrorism. A thesis calling for radiation to be used as a humane way to reduce the World’s population for the Club of Rome’s Global 2000 Report. A reduction of sixty-five percent of the global populace by 2050 then a further thirty-five percent of the surviving populace by 2100.
Start asking the questions why the Department of Energy has such close connections with the medical mafia today. A medical mafia run by The Worshipful Company of Apothecaries and The Worshipful Company of Barbers at New Jerusalem aka the ancient pirates of the Livery. Its all about radiation issues and man-made population reduction. This includes the regular inhaling of nano-particules from aerosol programs run by the U.S. Air Force through both the military and civilian Open Skies Treaty. Poisons hindering the Lungs having affects on the balancing of the Liver and the function of the Heart both hindering that Spleen.
Please study what Order of Malta Knight, Heinz Kissinger had to say about food in his Memorandum 200. The biggest contributor to the current illnesses is the food supply with known toxins from foods not fit for man or beast. Junk foods like vegetable oils and Soy which destroy Splenic function and cripple the thyroid quickly. Sweeteners which cripple the Liver function which then damages the balance to the Spleen. You must not eat any of this food pushed today. You must not fall for the brainwashing against saturated fats. Think back to when people ate these old diets and how much healthier and stronger they were compared to today. Its a no brainer in common sense if you just spend the time to sit and think about it.
Once you know about the population reduction agenda you can see through whats happening today. Watch for massive illness man-made planned pandemics and reductions once the new economy is bought in based on carbon trading. Why? You have instantly become classed as a polluter with carbon exhaling and therefore they can make more money from your death than your living. Your illness also aids the attempts to have a gross domestic product since the outsourcing of the manufacturing industries. In the zero-growth post-industrial plan it means you have to have a sick populace in order to have the pharmaceutical mafia act as a buffer for some of the losses to the manufacturing industry going to the Far-East. At the same time a weaker populace is easily controlled, dependent and no longer a threat to the New World Order usurping of nations and their laws of the land and Constitutions.
The problem with white sugar is it is so sweet and anything too sweet will over power the Spleen. This overpowering will eventually hinder Spleen performance and cause demands elsewhere such as the Heart and Kidneys. This is the real issue with sugar and nothing else. If you feed a weightlifter a teaspoon of sugar you will see something dramatic. He could lift 300 pounds with ease one minute but minutes after the sugar he will struggle like crazy. May I remind you that your Spleen controls your muscles. You want to be taking in whole sugars combined with minerals and fiber like sugar cane. Everything God provided in its whole form is usually very safe and very health for you. When one separates these foods from God then trouble starts and the same if you process the food destroying its content. Minerals being the most important compounds you can take. The higher levels of organic-minerals you have in your body the less chance the radiation will have at hindering you.
