Anti-Israeli demonstrations have been held in the Afghan capital, Kabul, against the Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip, Press TV reports.

Protesters chanted anti-Israel and anti-US slogans in the Afghan capital to express their solidarity with innocent civilians being slaughtered in Gaza at the hands of Israeli forces.

“We are with the people of Gaza. We condemn the Israeli forces attack on Gaza,” said a protester at the rally.

The demonstrators also condemned Washington as the main supporter of Tel Aviv, saying the United States is the main backer of terrorism and aggression worldwide.

“We believe that whether it’s the Taliban, whether it’s the Israeli government, all are under the command of USA, America, which is the big killer of Afghan people and Palestinian people,” said another protester.

Similar demonstrations were held in other countries, including Venezuela, Spain, the United States, El Salvador and France, to denounce Tel Aviv regime’s offensive against the blockaded Palestinian sliver.

Palestinians are considered one of the most oppressed people in the world.

Some 655 Palestinians have so far been killed and more than 4,200 injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since July 8. According to the United Nations (UN), nearly 80 percent of the casualties in Gaza have been civilians.

Palestinian resistance fighters have also retaliated against the Tel Aviv regime’s deadly attacks by firing a barrage of rockets deep into the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories.
