Australia PM advisor censures UN over issue of climate change to control the New World Order
The business adviser of Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott says the United Nations used the issue of climate change as a pretext to create a new world order under its own control.
Maurice Newman, the chairman of Abbott’s Business Advisory Council, made the comments in a column for The Australian newspaper, on Friday.
Newman said the UN’s real agenda concentrated on “political authority,” adding that, “Global warming is the hook.”
He described the matter of climate change presented to the world as being “a well-kept secret,” adding that 95 percent of climate models thought to prove links between human CO2 emissions and climate change had been found to be incorrect.
He also pointed to comments previously made by Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Christiana Figueres, in which she said political systems based on democracy were not suitable for the fight against global warming.
“This is not about facts or logic. It’s about a new world order under the control of the UN. It is opposed to capitalism and freedom and has made environmental catastrophism a household topic to achieve its objective.”
Newman made the remarks as the UN climate chief was in Australia for a visit aimed at discussing practical climate change action.
Figueres is tasked with producing a global emissions reduction agreement in the French capital, Paris, in December.
If a deal is reached in Paris, it will be the first agreement on climate change between the UN’s 194 member states.
Last year, top climate polluters the United States and China jointly announced their decision to make emissions-limiting changes for the deal, expected to take effect in 2020.
Experts have been warning that cuts to emissions are needed to prevent global warming from reaching dangerous levels.
