Bavaria’s CSU Interior Minister Joahcim Hermann has warned the German federal state would start introducing tougher border controls to stop a record influx of migrants and protect the country independently of the federal policy of Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Hermann made a strongly worded attack on the Austrian government led by Chancellor Werner Faymann. He said the way the Austrian government transports migrants as rapidly as possible to the German frontier irresponsible, ignoring the fact Bavaria has no place to accomodate them and many may be left to sleep in the open.

He said that Bavaria could not accept the continuation of an unabated stream of refugees.

Hermann’s remarks come as Bavaria Premier Horst Seehofer called on Merkel to intervene with Faymann to stop the migrant crisis. Seehofer noted that Merkel and Faymann were responsible for initiating it in the first place.

It is to be hoped Bavaria closes its border as soon as possible while organizing transport for migrants back to their countries.

Above all, it is to be hoped that Merkel is forced to resign as soon as possible. She should also be put on trial in court for her role in violating laws on registering asylum seekers before she is hanged by furious Germans. Or does this woman really think she is going to get away scot free with her attempt to destroy Europe by engineering a migrant crisis together with Faymann and Alexis Tsipras?

Germany needs a new Chancellor, a credible new figure to lead it out of this crisis. Candidates with a wide appeal would include Wolfgang Schauble and Thomas de Maiziere.
