French Navy’s intelligence ship Dupuy de Lome enters Black Sea
The French Navy’s intelligence ship Dupuy de Lome has entered the Black Sea, a Russian Navy Main Staff spokesman told Interfax-AVN on Thursday.
“The French intelligence ship Dupuy de Lome appeared in the Black Sea last night,” he said. The Dupuy de Lome was present in the Black Sea from April 11 to April 30, the spokesman said.
The ship is intended for strategic intelligence, including communications interception and analysis, including satellite communications, and radar monitoring. It can even intercept mobile phone calls and emails.
