A TOURIST’S car was blown up by anti-terrorist police after he broke down close to Parliament.
Nima Hosseini Razi went sightseeing after leaving a note saying: “This car is broken. I am just waiting for the AA.
Please do not fine!” But when the 32-year-old returned, the boot had been blown off his Ford Mondeo – and he had a parking ticket. Mr Razi said last night: “I was completely shocked.”
A Met Police spokesman said: “A controlled explosion took place. The incident was subsequently deemed non-suspicious.”
Daniel Astaire, a Westminster councillor, said: “Police instructed our parking attendant to issue a ticket.”
